| Remarks: | I'm only halfway through the album, but based on what I have heard so far I'd purchase the CD without hesitation. I'm hearing elements of Banco, La Torre dell'Alchemstra and other classic Italian Prog, with some hints of Gentle Giant here and there. Very good vocals, and some modern electronics take this out of being a totally "retro" vibe. Some of the better Symph styled Prog I've heard in quite a while. | Remarks: | It is highly difficult to be both traditional and modern, well... that's exactly what you did in "Blemmebeya"! If the basic flavour is italian prog, the final dish is richer and very tasty, ranging from electronic sounds to symphonic patterns. I especially like your tempo changes and the apparently simple way you lead the listener from key samples to acoustic landscapes. The lyrics are also interesting, irregular in rythm and with some nice alliterations instead of traditional rhymes. That is clever: you exploited the strongest resources of italian language, skipping its risks. I'm not a specialist in music reviews, so this is simply my opinion... good luck and thank you for the music! P.S. I'd like to buy the original CDs if they exist... let me know. |

| Remarks: | I downloaded Blemmebeya today and have listened it twice now. I was going to give it "A Wonderfull and a great work" but while I'm listening it right now, I'm watching a snow storm outside my window. Big bending trees are casting a shadow over a the window and I realise I have tear in my eye. This has to be a masterpiece! This is not another Genesis -clone (or something) but a creative piece of art that stands for it's own right! Still, I can find a grand legacy of Italian Legends, such as Banco, Locanda.., Museo Rosenbach, etc, etc.. I do like D.F.A and Maschera Di Sera (of newer bands) but this is absolutely the best music I've heard from Italia since the 70's! Thank You so much! - Petri ps. I'm an old fashioned guy who wants to buy everything on CD or vinyl but I really do respect and admire your attitude not to manufact! ure and not to send anything to save a bit of this planet..
