Rain, water, snow and those lightning among the clouds, that roaring sound spread along the valley: the thunder. He has observed them all, he has understood them all.
He has caught the mechanism and then he broadcasted it, making all one knows it: “…this is water and falls from humid and vertical clouds, and those are thunderbolt and this is the way it happens…”
This is the way or should be the way a “scientific discovery” has to be treated. It should be brought to everyone and remain up until it is corrected or perfected.
It’s the same for a melody or for music in general. Music should be made known, spread abroad, communicated, should be free, open and shared in order to be managed and edited as a discovery. Composing a melody is quite like to discover it, it is like to reveal that it has always been living but it was not encoded yet, it was mute and not arranged, it was broken down, decomposed, scattered like cards on a table, but it exists before men.
Now all of the Akt band’s work is like a discovery: melodies and themes have to be shown and shared with everyone. They must not be sold, but given as a present in order to be understood and appreciated, discussed like a single segment of a still-hidden straight line of infinite length, like a nearly correct fragment which could perfectly match with others, somewhere else, somewhen else, if just slightly modified.
Like Science the musical inspiration may progress and decide to dwell at its own’s discretion, at worldwide’s discretion.
Akt hopes his music will be often downloaded from this website, downloaded and requested, observed and criticized, spread and used.
Akt band was born on 1998 in Bologna, Italy. At first their music is supported by frequent writing and reflection moments. The original band was composed by 4 members, sometimes they were in 5, now the band is composed by 3 musicians: Simone Negrini, Marco Brucale and Alessandro Malandra. Initially they produce single songs then collected in emotionally moulded albums.
Since 2000 they start using computer for composing music and this will be a great contribute to their experimental aptitude. Thus from a kind of music that may be defined as progressive rock, it turns to a sound which is always rock but contaminated by an electronic and unusual tone colour.
